Rukeyser's Wall street week and technical analysis? Or the preference of following the big money to join them in your investment strategy?

In the 1970s, Wall street week was full of women technicians to help TV audience to invest on Wall street. They soon changed to volume watching, overbought and oversold. The economy was bad, and technical analysis went south too.

Today, Wall street week had for each week a star fund manager to be grilled on where the money was placed and why. The big money that you can ride the coat tail on. These fund managers, however, generally look for merely double digit gains and quite safe in their investments.

Do they talk about technical analysis? Hell, no! They put their money where their mouth is, and keep on buying to prop up their investments. That's why Rukeyser is still there after all these years; his customers don't lose their money.

Good investment is that simple. Do remember to sell with the big money too.
