Brocade to Join Nasdaq-100 Index February 07, 2001 08:22:00 AM ET SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (Brocade(R)) BRCD, the leading provider of Storage Area Networking infrastructure, today announced that it will become a component of the Nasdaq-100 Index(R) effective at the beginning of trading Tuesday, February 13, 2001. Brocade will also be included in the Nasdaq-100 Index Tracking Stock(SM) QQQ. The addition of Brocade to the Nasdaq-100 Index underscores Brocade's leadership in the storage networking market and reflects the company's consistent performance since its IPO in May, 1999.
