Well, I am not an authority on Bay Networks... BUT John Dessauer on Wall Street Week picked BAY as one of the three tech stocks for the second half of the year.... I have watched Bay Netowrks only because I am in Alpharel (AREL), and Bay was beta testing one of Alpharel's new products. After looking at the chart, I almost wondered about an options play on BAY. Based on Dessauer's comments and the long term chart pattern, I would hold if I were in your position. But I have no money on the line here and since you do, it is a different point of view.
