Deutsche Banc Joins Competitors In Offering Regular Stock Picks

NEW YORK -- They don't come cheaper by the dozen, but Deutsche Banc hopes the 12 offerings on its first-ever list of recommended stocks will pay off big in the long run.
Deutsche Banc Tuesday launched a favorites list that includes Home Depot Inc., Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Analog Devices Inc. The efforts are meant to build business with institutional investors by making Deutsche Banc a better resource for them, company executives said. "We felt we had to upgrade our product offerings," said Bruce McDermott, the Deutsche Banc managing director overseeing the effort. "We are trying to show we have a world-class equity strategy and macro economic product."...
....In addition to stocks named above, the selection process turned up Anadarko Petroleum Corp., Freddie Mac, Bank of America Corp., American Tower Corp., Celestica Inc., EMC Corp., Flextronics International Ltd., Global Crossing Ltd. and BellSouth Corp.
