if it ever gets OS support... it sure won't do that under current versions of any OS... I'll go on record and say that the hammer series will never be a competitive threat to IA-64. It will be competition for future P4 chips, but not IA-64... Hammer already has Linux support. Intel will be emulating AMD's X86-64 before you know it. 8 years and Itanic still can't get above 800Mhz. It's a dinosaur already. Soon it will be a fossil. M.
