teevee,

'to transform Canadians from hewers of wood'
He still needs someone to clear the land for the golf courses and produce spare parts for the canoes which may need to be retrofitted to maintain our NATO commitments :0)

'the next two to five years should be good ones as major capital is invested in these areas'
I agree that there are many good choices to be had in old economy niches. I'm mainly in O&G, Drillers and pipelines now. I expect to continue taking some ST profits though over the next weeks. I started looking at steel wrt O&G eg: MVK and noticed your post on the driller thread.

'it will take at least another 3 months or so for capital to move out of the high tech sector'
Due to the changing (increasing) energy requirements of our society I don't see NG or OIL falling off the map in the near future.
I figure to go shopping in the summer with O&G profits from the spring for more of the same and maybe by then there should be some good tech bargains also for long term

regards
Kastel
