One of our very good friends in the market just sent us a rather interesting story highlighting an Investors Intelligence newsletter report that optimism about US stocks surged to 14-year highs last week. What really piqued our friend's interest however, was the fact that the percentage of financial consultants who considered themselves, or optimistic, rose to 61.8, the highest level since January of 1987. Of course, while stocks put in a pretty good performance through October, we all know what happened after that!
