So why is Microsoft writing an emulator? Writing an emulator isn't trivial (look at they way AMD had to let a third party develop and sell an emulator for the Hammers. Look at the success of Transmeta based almost entirely on emulator technology). Why does Itanium need an emulator in the first place? Regards, Dan
