Steven, I had forgotten about that. I OWN msft but didn't short the QQQ. I have been short SUNW. In fact, I was using msft as a sunw short hedge and that turned out to be a disaster, but sunw EVENTUALLY started to cooperate. I suspect it started to work about two months ago, but I have since covered my sunw short.

I think one could go long lvlt and short qqq or any of the frothy things. lvlt is a go go idea with a buffetesque management.

I don't think I have the stomach to short, though I think I could tolerate puts.

Nice idea.
