As a genuine, dyed in the wool Southerner, I take umbrage at you, Mr. New York Liberal, calling Shootie a redneck as if it was some kind of insult. A redneck is a man who works in the fields all day long, and the skin on the back of his neck is burned permanently red. There's nothing dishonorable about being a redneck.
