I was speaking in generic terms. The issue is the notification to the user so that the user can fight the subpeona and not have personal information made public. Of course, some people deem it acceptable to invade the privacy of private individuals and post personal information on this site. The most recent issue was Bear Down's subpeona. He allegedly has been suspended for thirty days due to his post about it. However, he alleges that he couldn't get the information from Silicon Investor to fight the subpeona and actually got the information from Tony. I am not sure how Tony got the information on the subpeona but supposedly the necessary info to fight the subpeona did not come from Silicon Investor.
