Greetings from the Big Easy and HIMSS.

I spent 5 hours at the exhibition and did not nearly do it justice. The IDX people are young, vibrant,
knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. Makes one happy that you own part of this company. We were well
represented at the Microsoft booth, whose interest in IDX apparently lies in a sales tool for their Windows
2000 by virtue of the potential security provided. Dell likes IDX as a solution for their total systems
approach to HIPAA problems. Compaq thinks fingerprint ID is THE approach vs. retinal or iridial scans or
facial recognition. IDX Systems Corp. (no relation to us) uses equipment supplied by Presideo for
fingerprint ID. Guess who supplies the stuff to Presideo.

Overall, I think we have a real problem with this company.....none of us own nearly enough. I really hate
to sound like a P&D jerk, but I genuinely feel we are in the right place, now and in the future.

BTW Brevard, we didn't even get near Bourbon St. We went to our favorite watering holes to
celebrate...LOL...owl...
