my guess is 3.5 shares of Lucent yields 1 share of AGR 370 M shares of AGR offered and Lucy retains 72.7 % ownership 370 M / 27.7% = 1.337 B share O/S Lucent 72.7% = 967 M shares 3.4 B shares of Lucy / 967 M shares of AGR = 3.5 couresty of Adam on the Agere thread
