Mardy - Many thanks for the link to the Wi-LAN news concerning patents within W-OFDM. As I often advise the HiperLAN2 Global Forum on certain issues I almost missed it!!!

As for other last mile technologies, have people started evaluating Ensemble Communications in San Diego. Not listed yet, but one to keep an eye on as their Adaptive TDD broadband wireless solution is way ahead of the pack.

Now I hope you and Elmatador are back to being friends again!
