Aurora Platinum has received receipts from the securities commissions in
British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario for a final prospectus filed to
qualify the distribution of 7,280,716 shares and 6,368,430 warrants issued
upon the exercise of previously issued five million Series A special
warrants, 2,280,716 Series B special warrants and 228,072 agents' Series B
compensation warrants. For information on the Series A and Series B special

10, 2000.
Aurora is actively exploring in Ontario and Quebec for
copper-nickel-platinum-palladium deposits. The company has acquired a
100-per-cent interest in a number of platinum-palladium prospects and is
presently conducting exploration work within the Lansdowne House Ultramafic
complex in Northern Ontario and the Midrim-Belleterre area in Quebec. The
company is also exploring in joint venture with Falconbridge Limited in the
