<< heaps of used battery eating analog phones and missing basestations for the cocktailparty :) >>

I am waiting for the UMTS "cocktailparty". <g>

The GREAT part of those fire breathing battery eating analog phones is that although we are approaching saturation (won't be saturated till wifey pooh gets her very own mobile hand me down ... WAP enabled) it remains a GREAT replacement market. Nokia needs to master CDMA (which it appears they have done) and nail the nuances of this ANSI-41 based terrain. Then ... Nokia racks up.

And. oh, yeh, the Audiovox CDM9000 (QUALCOMM MSM3100 inside) handles "Send SMS" quite nicely thank you. Handsfree monstrosity costs more than the bloody phone ... but that's another story. They finally released a data cable ... but that's yet another story.

<< sending SMS messages after 16 billion already sent >>

That is 16 billion in one month, thank you ... just in GSMland ... but with no DOSAMPS.
