Zoltan, there aren't many posters here who don't think that the Rich pardon stinks. I have said so previously, and if he never comes back to the US, so much the better. I do think, however, that in this case Bush is taking the right approach. All of this Rich stuff is a distraction from his attempts to push his agenda, and may lead to some embarrassing revelations about his VP's chief of staff. Also, unlike Burton, Bush realizes that every time the GOP has tried to go after Clinton, it bites them in the butt. Ask the previous two House speakers.

Moreover, Burton's moralistic rantings are a bit hypocritical.
