Thursday Feb 8 2001 News Release
 Mr. Serafino Iacono reports
Bolivar Goldfields has changed its corporate name to Storage @ccess Technologies in conjunction with obtaining a listing for its shares on Tier 1 of the Canadian Venture Exchange. Early last year the company decided to change its business scope from mining to technology; after considering many different business opportunities in the technology area, management decided that the best long-term prospects were generally in the infrastructure sector, and specifically in the networked storage services segment. The company sold its mining operations to Crystallex International Corp. and purchased Storage Access from Champion Solutions Group, Inc. Rather than modifying its business plan to meet the original listing requirements of the TSE, the company decided that long-term shareholder interests were better served by adhering to the original plans to build the business and Storage Access's storage wide area network. Accordingly, the company chose to seek a listing on the CDNX to enable it to develop its business plan while ensuring the continued liquidity of its securities. As the company matures it may decide to seek a dual listing in other markets.
The company will commence trading on Tier 1 of the CDNX on Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, under the symbol SSP. At the same time, the company's shares will be voluntarily delisted from the TSE effective the close of trading, Friday, Feb. 9, 2001. The CUSIP number for Storage @ccess Technologies Inc. is 86210Q107.
In addition, Storage Access, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Storage @ccess Technologies Inc., has completed its Storage Network Access Point (SNAP) in Miami, Fla. This state-of-the-art production facility, located at Switch & Data Facilities Co., sits directly on the NAP of the Americas, one of five Tier-1 NAPs currently serving the North American market, providing outstanding communications and bandwidth capabilities. Originally scheduled for completion by the end of first quarter, this state-of-the-art facility incorporates today's most advanced networked storage and storage management technologies, and provides Storage Access's Channel Partners and Customers with highly secure, scalable and available data management services at a low, fixed monthly cost.
This is currently Storage Access's third facility including its demo/showcase facility in Boca Raton, Fla, which was completed last month, and its facility in San Diego, Calif., which currently provides exclusively Web-based storage services. The new facility will provide advanced storage management services including backup and restore, capacity-on-demand, replication, business continuance and other highly demanded offerings that lower the costs of storage management.
"This SNAP is our first fully functional and fully scalable production facility," states Paul Sachse, Storage Access's chief technology officer, "it will scale to more than 20 terabytes and supports hundreds of servers and thousands of end-users. In addition, the facility contains full SAN and NAS capability allowing us to provide storage services ranging from the individual user accessing storage over the Internet to large scale ASP's and enterprises requiring very high levels of availability and performance."
Jonathan Castleman, president of Storage Access, said: "I am proud of my team and very pleased with the huge strides we have made in the last few months that have put us ahead of schedule. In a very short period of time we have been able to establish our corporate headquarters, build a phenomenal team, and develop initial facilities and relationships that will position us very well to begin capturing market share and achieve leadership in the industry."
