I believe that Carpino is saying that he does not have very conclusive cycle work for Feb, he says it's
his most difficult month from a cycle perspective.

PETER G. GRENNAN (02/08/01) STOCK INDEX FUTURES MARKET COMMENT
. SP's consolidation/corrective phase continues. From is 1390 high of
last Wednesday to yest 1340 low, SP has thus far pulled back 3.6% which is
relatively mild. The Nasdaq 100 futures started its correction week earlier
on Wed Jan 24th and has pulled back from 2799 to yest 2362 low or 15.6%. So
far no real indication this phase is over, although it looks like its time
for another rally attempt like this past Monday's. Throughout consolidation/
correction, NYSE advance/declines continue to climb with yest another new
recovery high since their Oct 18th low. Obviously, some stocks are being
bought while others discarded. Start SP minor support 1345-47 where SP held
during minor pullback in final minutes yest. Under 1344.50, test 1340 low.
Resistance 1358-60. Then 1364-1366. FairValue+5.40;Buy+7.45;Sell+3.25.
