You are from UK! So is my husband who got his undergraduate degree at Oxford!!! He was on the rowing team but he liked to run as well. Since this is a serious thread, I was going to mention Dr. Martin Luther King's opinion about Liberals and their optimism. I don't want to confuse King's definition of liberal optimism with King's personal optimism, which was strong, very strong.
