if you haven't already done the things reccoed ...
try entering a blank password ...
by that I mean
at the request for password
hit enter button ...

I'll bet that it will take it ...
----------------------------------------
should that NOT do it ..

the jumper which will eliminate the password
WILL be indentified

in little bitty enseency tincey print on the MB
probably with the identifier CPS ....
and as Cat Lady said, normally close to the battery itself...
and
it will be either open *(as in the jumper is on one post) or
NO jumper at all there

it is easy to do ...
matter of fact I prefer it to batt removal which "sometimes" gives me problems with the time required to make sure ...

1- turn off box ... you knew that BUT ...reminders aren't bad .....gggg
2- short the two posts with a jumper
3- turn on box
.... at this step you will know if you did it right cause the screen will say something like this ..
Password cleared by jumper CPS
4- HOLD down the delete key during boot up so that you may enter the BIOS setup to re-enter preferences
5- turn off box
6- remove jumper
7 - turn it on
*8 ==== go buy a stock that will GO UP tomorrow ....

step 8 is optional ....
