JG- Well I must say he gives very straight answers to very straight questions. It is the best and most informative briefing I have heard from Q so far.

I understand what they wnat Spinco for now, I understand W-CDMA and the whole 3-G deployment issue.

Whoever said this is a must to listen to is quite right.

As for being too assured and that will cause the opposition to search for alternative strategies....well they already have....they have gone for a system that no-one has working to finality, that is at least a year or so behind that is more costly etc when they could have 1X today. The comptition has already cut off its nose to spite its face.

He has tried to explain this lunacy to ISPs epsecially in Europe that have almost bankrupted themselves buying licenses even before deploying the 3-G infrastructure. Give the guy a break. He is trying to help people that would sooner do almost anything than accept 1X.

not every decision is technical and Europe is doing what Europe does

He is very very clear and informative. He is confident of what the Q owns and that is what counts because 3-G is going to be CDMA and that is that.

Best regards,

L
