I thought that was kinda wierd. I was thinking 'Man, those iPaqs must really* be exceeding Compaq's sales expectations!'. <g> So anyway, it looks like between this new UIII SMP and clustering stuff, Sun's going to move from the back to the front of that class with some degree of authority. Did you check out that Sun idle cycles 'Grid' stuff? Is there anything else out there like that? Sun has a pretty hefty plate of stuff to execute on in the coming couple quarters. It's going to be hard to keep track of it all. I was impressed with the way they attacked the channel problem (by attacking their process) so strongly. Ed Zander never rests. OTOH, looking at it through twister's eyes, Sun was saying 'Hey channel partners, how about we make *you the dot in dot com for a while?' <g> -JCJ
