Alex, re e-mail: an internet based e-mail like yahoo or hotmail is handy when you're travelling. And, you can receive pop mail there, too. I have not found a way to import my address book from msn to, say, hotmail. Looks like you have to enter addresses manually by typing them in.
But I travel little and don't see this as a problem.
