I'll be on vacation next week and away from the market all day Monday - Wednesday.
Will Thursday be too late to set up more shorts?
I plan to have a couple GTCs set before I leave, such as BRCM ~90, JNPR ~100, PSFT ~40, and AMAT ~47. Datek won't let me short CPST, but so far the puts are doing well. Almost sold at 4 5/8 today for a double. Maybe tomorrow. A dip to 31-32 should do it. If so, I will try to reload ~3 before the end of next week.

P.S. What do you think of Energy stocks here (CPN, DYN, MND, ENE, SLB, etc.)? Will they go up due to the energy crisis, or down with the rest of the market? I am in California, by the way, and "enjoyed" a one hour twenty-minute black-out late last Friday night. |
