Break out the $691 billion and tell us what you are going to cut. Remember, you guys are in control now, and can do whatever you want.

I will leave it up to Tom Delay. You may not know about this, but he was arguing with Clinton to the end of Clinton Presidency about. The reason the budget was not signed until after the election was because Delay wanted to spend less and reduce the debt, Clinton was trying to spend more. Clinton was willing to drag this thing out as long as it took so that he would force more spending on Congress.

Oops, it blows another hole in the script of your fictional story.

I hoping for a pleasant surprise when DeLay gets his hands (I mean machete) on that $691 billion. I expect you to support him fully if the debt reduction is now your 1st commandment.
