George...thanks for the tip to search here. Gracious! I had absolutely no idea GIFT was so well followed. I may have paranoia caught from reading the PRST thread, and yes, I have bought GIFT (but, thankfully, not PRST), but now that I have found this thread, here is my story:
I heard about GIFT from a broker who had a customer demand to buy a VERY large stake in this little co. because he was indirectly involved somehow in this patent fight and believed it to be the 'stock of the century.' Sound familiar? He reports in from time to time, but never with any solid input. He always says they are "close" to an "announcement." Yeah, right. He bought in at the end of April...so I did some in early May. Since then the stock has bouced like a beach ball. Is this for real, or an enormous PR effort to suck in enough of us IIs (individual investors!!) to raise the price sufficiently for insiders to sell out either before they lose it all or before they hand their patent over to a biggy company for peanuts with us Johnny come latelys (latelies?) wearing a tremedous amont of egg on our much poorer faces? This thread would then be the whining group therapy venue that PRST now is (check IT out!) How about facts? Yes, I read Twenty Five Lawyers....but ususally, those bastards win. What prescedents, assets or real law does GIFT have in our corner? Even my broker friend would like to know!! |
