Kirk,

My trip to Chicago last summer with Emily was for just that purpose...We covered the entire field as well.
It was a rush, and it was not easy.....on the other hand it was really great. The trip was awesome. Part of the instruction came from a book called....."Almost 12" it is a great book for such "talks" The point of the trip was so that if Emily had any questions.....we could talk, without her brothers interrupting. It was a Mom/Daughter bonding adventure. Ever see those heart shaped necklaces that say "Best Friends" and one person gets one half and the other obviously get the other half.....<yes a girl thing I know> anyway I had bought a necklace similar to that it said Mom Daughter. I put each half on a chain. And after our talk I gave her, her half...and told her that I will always love her and no matter what happens in her life, she could come talk to me. I gave her the necklace as a reminder. She has always loved doing things like dressing similar, doing our nails the same, getting matching shoes.....so the necklace really was something special for she and I.
