Scumbria,

Most religions, including Christianity, make a big deal out of sharing wealth with the poor. Remember the story of Lazarus and the rich man?

I am not sure if it is a Christian idea to share one's wealth with the US government (which is the most atheist and anti-christian entity since the collapse of the Soviet Union).

I think most Christian would prefer to do their "sharing" directly, not through the Health and Human Services administration.
