Joe,

The new President is taking bribe money from oil companies during his inauguration ceremonies, and the Republican Congress is off investigating a Clinton pardon. Quite an infrastructure of diversion your party has created.

WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 — Under intense grilling from a House committee Thursday, the former White House counsel who led the effort to win a presidential pardon for fugitive billionaire Marc Rich denied that campaign funding played a role in the president’s decision. At the same time, a Justice Department official angrily rebuffed charges that he had looked the other way and allowed Rich’s pardon to slip through the normal channels of pardon review.
