David, although your comments concerning OCTL's products as being the worst on the market appear to be from the heart--not to forget that this company is going to fold at any time--the street (those who invest to make money) is in real disagreement with you. The only reason to buy stocks (and never forget that all stocks are bad sooner or later) is to realize profits from the inital investment. Sorry, David, but that is the only reason. A company's worth is not based on the repetitive and apparently biased conclusions of the slide ruler crowd. Your insights into products and market share lack the wider focus needed to make a prudent decision on whether or not to take a position with this company. I can almost hear my mother telling me to "cut off my nose to spite my face" when considering yet another post that Octel is in serious trouble as it breaks out of a tight trading range.

You admittedly dislike this company and make transparent attempts to argue against its products while also foreboding this terrible doom of lost market share. Your posts while interesting some time ago have become merely repetitive.

I will clearly state for all those lurking on this thread that David R dislikes Octel. David R believes that Octel's products are all but dead from old age. David R is convinced that this company is going to lose its market share position because the other companies in this sector are far superior to Octel. David R also has been able to show everyone that even though Octel is racking up industry awards these are meaningless because other companies with better minds will soon have much improved versions of everything Octel brings to market. David R would never invest in Octel even if he knew beforehand that the stock would climb from 15 to 50 (sorry about that one, but I claim artistic license in winding up the paragraph).

Now maybe we can turn the discussion toward specifics on competing technologies. Up to the challenge, David?

Greg
