Ben,

If the Q is successful in producing a multi-mode chipset that allows a user to "run multiple flavors" as Sulpizio puts it, W-CDMA's reasons for being cease to exist. If this happens, and happens soon, I fear my prediction of a world that is 80% cdma2000 and 20% W-CDMA may be on the low side <ggg>

Seriously, this kind of development would be the ultimate seminal event in the Q's evolution and, on a fundamental basis, would dwarf the Ericy deal of two years ago by many orders of magnitude.

It's now time for the Q to fully exploit the technical and "time to market" advantages that they have made for themselves!

P.S.- No one's talking much bout India just yet, and given the delays experienced with the rollout of CDMA in China I can understand the Q's reluctance to publicly voice their excitement re: this opportunity, but I suspect there's soon gonna be lots of CDMA handsets making there way over there.
