Yea, it's bogus. But it's probably all they are in a position to do at this point. Between the original confusing instructions, the apparent lack of understanding of how stock-picking contests are generally judged (and why), and the lack of staff to implement any software to track the contest, I don't see where they have much choice.

Hey, it's just a contest, it's only a $500 prize (they wisely chose to give away a $50,000 prize on the more rational and less trouble-prone basis of a random drawing :) ) and a "learning experience".

BTW, I think it's pretty amazing that there are negatives in the top 5, and the gains are all pretty modest. Not at all how I expected it to go - I expected that out of all the entrants, somebody would happen to pick a jack-rabbit.

Are the posted results really the results for the content period, or just over-night changes? Somebody else pointed this out as well.
