John, imo a Chinese devaluation is more a question of WHEN, not IF.

thanks for the link to this article, and i certainly agree with Hickey. semiconductor capacity has for instance grown by over 2,500% over the past decade, so there certainly are VAST overcapacities. at the same time, the telcos have such huge debt loads now, with essentially NOTHING to show for it, that demand is set to be anemic for a long time to come.

too much debt, too much capacity, a deadly combination.

my target for the ultimate Nasdaq bear market low is quite a bit below current levels....
