Dear Paul:

You must be in a time warp. AMD 760(1) DDR 133/266 has been available on Pricewatch for weeks. Just go there and search on "amd 761 motherboard". Even if you ignore the Gigabyte GA-7DXC (but not the Gigabyte GA-7DX), there is still pages of AMD 760 motherboards listed. The following AMD 760 based motherboards work fine at 133(266)MHz FSB: Gigabyte GA-7DX, FIC AD11, and Asus A7M266.

Far more than none. It is far more available than P3-1.13 which was supposed to be reintroduced since before October. The 1.2GHz Tbird has been available for months and in larger quantities than 1.5GHz P4s over that span. And P4 still has the PCI lockup problem which has yet to be fixed.

I do not think any company is a Superhero. Looks like you do, though. Although their (Intel) "wait till next month (, quarter, or year)" diatribe is wearing pretty thin these days.

Pete
