Exactly. The big factor is that '90-'91 was just when riverboat gaming was starting as well and the big Vegas build out was by and large still in the planning stages.. The Mirage was the only new casino on the strip; since then they've added Treasure Island, Venetian, Bellagio, Paris, Monte Carlo, Aladdin, MGM, Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay. The debt load for all the building is enormous. Also the Asian economies (very important to MGG in particular) weren't oosiked to the extent they are now. Even Japan, though it was post bubble, was still performing well economically then.

This one's gonna be a big $hit sandwich for Vegas casino interests (and yes, they're all gonna have to take a bite).
