14:44 ET Capex Cutbacks : Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown reiterates that there is continued near-term downside risk in the semi equipment group after Motorola (MOT) announces plans to reduce semiconductor capex plans; DBAB continues to see BUY-rated NVLS and BRKS as the best risk/reward propositions while AMAT, CMOS, LRCX, and TER are left with MARKET PERFORM ratings. (briefing.com)

I think it's about time to start adding some equipment stocks. What do you guys expect from AMAT next week. Earnings desaster or muted reaction with most of the bad news priced in ?
