Well, I solved my problem about the borrowed DIAmond trust shares on the Dow. At a total cost of $29.90 I switched into SPY as a short, which is a better idea anyway since the P/E on the S&P is higher than the Dow. Also, tech investors seem sometimes to be using the Dow stocks like bonds, imagining them a safe place to park money, and I have had enough of dealing with those loonies.
