Good to hear from the techno heads!! This SS7 stuff is very
interesting. I was on a Newbridge Networks call and this was
expressed by Dr. Matthews (CEO) as a very important standard in the
convergence of public & private voice and data networks. His 36170
integrated frame relay & ATM switch supports this standard. This
switch is really gaining momentum in the market place. This leads me
to believe that demand for standards based hardware, complient with
the traditional public telecom infrastructure, is beginning to build.

My intuition is that the MSFT announcement is good for, and not a threat
to DLGC. This is because DLGC does not participate in this space on the
software side. NT will be the corporate commodity OS of choice
going forward. The momentum of the NT product cycle is like nothing
I've ever witnessed in the technology market in the last 10 years.
Hence, the wide adoption of NT which supports SS7 should only serve
to accelerate DLGC CTI hardware solutions that are SS7 complient.
DLGC's allience with CPQ (NT Servers) may well be an attempt to
accelerate the commoditization of CTI.

I hope this helps!

Happy Investing,

Jay

P.S. I hope some of those on this board own MSFT. I don't own much
personally, but plan to purchase more before the next quarterly report.
