Try the past eight years. You know, those Clinton "golden years"? Those "old folks" would have had much better returns than through the SS Ponzi scheme.

Of course, I'm sure those "old folks" aren't as tolerant to risk as you or I am, so they would have just stashed their money away in an interest-bearing savings account. Funny how even that method would net better returns than through the SS Ponzi scheme.

By the way, your man Al Gore pretty much admitted during last year's campaign that SS is a Ponzi scheme. Do you?
