<Tcl/Tk? Java? Javascript? Maybe I don't understand what you mean. >
Are TcL/Tk, Java, and Javascript applications or programming languages? Does NSCP own them (except Javascript)? I am referring to things such as Lotus Notes and thier bunch of little applets. Moreso in MS Office and VBA, VB, C++, VB Script, Jscript, JavaScript, Perl, etc. Even Corel's suite(s). Theses are ready to run applications, that can be customized for the intranet/internet, not languages that one must use to build an app from scratch. I can take Office 97, Back Office and VBA and build a very competant, and complete Intranet solution with front, middle, and backend wares in a matter of days (okay maybe a wek or two). To do the same with Java, or Javascript is next to imposible without prefabricated components, and even then we're talking serious development time. |
