Hi Maverick: Let me respond to your post first then I will put forth my position - it may be in two seperate posts. To answer you points:
I can only speak for myself - I am long on OE.
I disagree with your point that someone's post is meaningless unless you know their motives - speaking for myself I get good information from many posts from different points of view.
To say that OE's press releases could be better written is an understatement.
I have never been in a vehicle powered by OCP - I am not the right person to ride in one - we need Vice Pres. Dick Cheney, or the Secretary of Transportation or the chairman of the House Transportation Committee - they are the people who need to ride in a vehicle powered by OCP. That would be PR - but it will never happen.
I never banter, and I am prepared to discuss OE on the merits.
I know that you feel that the Yahoo thread is of poor quality - it is interesting to note however, that most of the name calling and poor quality posts are the work of the OE groupies from the Sunshine Board.
You say that many of the posts indicate that "OE is a bad investment" There are many posts that indicate unease with the performance of the company, I belive that these posts are correct and I will continue on the next post.
John
