Q: Why might the rollout of JNPR's 20-Gigabit router be forthcoming soon? A: It would be strategically advantageous for JNPR to time the unveiling of the new 20-Gigabit router very soon after CSCO made their 10-Gigabit Router "catch-up" announcement on Jan 31st. Being able to offer the 20-Gig router when CSCO has just begun attempting to grab market share with their new 10-Gig router would very effectively short-circuit CSCO. Kind of like taking the air out of CSCO's tires...
