How did Your Senators vote on the Ashcroft Nomination?
phone numbers at page

On February 1, 2001, the U.S. Senate voted narrowly to confirm
anti-choice John Ashcroft for Attorney General by a vote of 58-42.
Despite our disappointment in the outcome, it is important to thank the
senators who voted to defend reproductive freedom, send a message
to those who would gamble with our hard-fought constitutional rights,
and ask the entire Senate to hold John Ashcroft accountable should he
break the promise he made during his confirmation hearings to uphold
Roe v. Wade as "settled law."

What you CAN do:

Call your senators and thank them or express your
disappointment with their votes as appropriate (see list below).
