Reagan was a big spender! I hate to bother you guys with reality but, during the Reagan years, Congress always appropriated less, not more, than Reagan requested. You can't have it both ways. Reagan cut taxes and increased spending and we had huge deficits. I know you want to rewrite history but I won't let you do that. Reagan never vetoed any of those spending increases.
