Pete, FDR and the Democratic Congress should have built what they claimed, a 401k type of pension fund system not a let the future pay for senior welfare. You are quite a comedian. Imagine the response that FDR would have received for suggesting that everyone put their retirement in the stock market, right after they just lost their life savings in the 1929 crash.
