>>So what does one buy when everyone is selling Monday?<<
I've followed a number of stocks in my portfolio during the recent downturn to see which have held up best and which have been the poorest (taken the biggest hits). My theory is the ones who have been strongest will lead the next rally, and deserve further $$. I've ranked them from first tier (strongest) to fourth tier (weakest) based on Bollinger Band penetration druing this downturn. Personally, I'm going to be looking to sell 3rd and 4th tiers on any rally. All of this is, as always "FWIW"
First tier: QCOM, OPWV, DIGL, RSAS. First choice here based on chart: OPWV
Second tier: CIEN, CMRC, FDRY, FCEL, QLGC, RIMM
===============================================================
Third tier: BEAS, CHKP, EMLX, SNDK, SEBL, XLNX
Fourth tier: BRCM, BRCD, HAND, ITWO, JNPR, QQQ.
I don't own BRCM, ITWO, QQQ, CMRC, QLGC, BEAS, CHKP, SEBL,XLNX - just track them.
Also - gold has bottomed and is ready to bounce - DROOY, ECO, GOLD, MDG, HGMCY, VPGMX, etc.
