>>>Anyone have any thoughts on how WGAT compares against them and why they will win out?

Good Question. WGAT seems dependent on the 2000 box being the platform of choice (for MSO's). Luckily by the end of this year there should be more than 20 million 2000 box's in the field (vs. a handfull of 5000 box's). Assuming the 2000 box is the platform, WGAT has contracts with 5 of the top 6 MSO's. Both LBRT and OPTV have an OS for the 2000 box, but lack contracts with the top MSO's. Both OPTV and LBRT offer software for the 2000 Box, but WGAT offers a Service (OS, CSR, etc.). In addtion WGAT is the only one that offers Channel Hyperlinking and has many patents that support their technology.

Personally I consider LBRT more of an competitor than OPTV. OPTV has made very little progress on the 2000 box. Also Satelite is dead when it comes to Interactive TV because it isn't 2-way.

Last I surprized there are not more people interested in this industry Interactive T.V., IMHO is a much bigger market than some others I follow (i.e. EBPP).

IMHO,

Benny
