Bambs, I am surprised that you think fundamentals are important because as a day trader you are jumping in and out of stocks on the spur of the moment. As stated in the article it is more a question of supply and demand. If demand is high, the hell with fundamentals. It seems long term investors should be more concerned with the basics. What difference does a P/E make if the stock is on the upswing. How do you fit in here?
