Yep. MRK, XOM, UTX, BA, MO, DIS, AA and DIS are all propping it up....much more so than they deserve to be. I think indexing has a little to do with it (though indexing is undoubtedly propping up the SPX a great deal more, most of the DOW is prominently represented in the S&P, even more so since adding INTC and Softee).

In any event, J6P will get the message eventually when earnings stay in the tank the second half of the year. Still can't say when "Clown Awareness Day" will be, though...
